Description
● HDF (high-density fiberboard) is a type of wood fibreboard manufactured from fine wood fibres. The board is completely uniform throughout, with a solid, smooth surface that is firmer than MDF. HDF board can be cut, drilled, painted, or processed in a variety of ways because of its flatness and great treatment capabilities. HDF board is mostly used to construct furniture such as kitchen cabinet doors, tables, and other such items. This substance is also employed in the production of raw materials. HDF stands for High-Density Fiberboard and is similar to particle board and medium-density board in appearance, but it is denser and stronger. It’s manufactured by mechanically compressing wood fibres. Style/Finishing In comparison to MDF, HDF is a significantly stronger board that produces a smooth and homogeneous surface wherever it is used.
